Another change...

Today the "nj" tube was inserted and reinserted after it came out on the way home from the U. Our visiting RN was here this afternoon to show us how the machine will work to pump the fluids for Scott, but once again the tube was dislodged due to Scott's coughing.

The new plan is that Scott will be admitted to Fairview tomorrow and he will be fed by IV (TPN) through the port in his chest. He will stay @ Fairview 24-48 hrs. to have the hospital staff make sure that things are working properly. A visiting RN will help us with the continued feeding from home.

Scott has had a rough day today for sure...cheer on the Pack tonight, that should make things a little better :-)

Wow--there are some bumps--but the road will get smoother!
Hope that the feeding and eating problems get solved soon.
Bummer about the Packer game last night--I just happened to catch the last 1/2--BUMMER! I was rotting for them, of course!
People are getting pretty excited about the Bears down here now--the Sox excitement hasn't even worn off yet! Would like to see the Bears in thw Super Bowl--but, realistically--?? I have long seen Chicago teams choke up when they are doing really well--but the Sox held out--so who knows!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Take Care-

Sorry about the difficulties with the feeding tube. Fairview will get things squared away and get you home soon.

The Packers need a feeding tube also. Especially during the 2nd half. I won't be able to call my Minnesota friends(?) for several weeks.

Have a nice Thanksgiving.
