Midweek Update

Hi everybody-

Scott continues to feel better each day. His stomach issues are still a problem though. His RN, Judy told him that patience is a virtue, and he will need a lot of patience with his stomach. Judy did reduce his pain meds again, by another third. Scott's pain has been at "0" for a long time with the meds. It is thrilling for us that his pain remains at zero, especially since the drugs have been reduced, now by two-thirds.

I know you all have been watching American Idol each week. My favorite remains "Anwar" - yes, I know he needs to continue to step-up his weekly performances, it was a close call last week.

Scott's re-check appointments are getting closer each day...continue the good vibes you are all sending our way.

Love To All Near & Far

Glad to hear that you are feeling so much better each day! Being able to be cut back on the pain meds so much is wonderful news!
Hope that your stomach starts adjusting more quickly!
I am into American Idol--and still pulling for Nadia--was glad to see that she was not in the lower 3 this week. I really expected that blonde guy who isn't wearing glasses anymore (can't remember his name right now) or Scott to be let go this week.
Danielle and I are into watching it weekly. She like Anwar best too.
Spring has Sprung down here in beautiful IL (ha ha).
We were bummed that the Illini didn't win that last game--Chad could not have cared less though. If he was into sports--maybe we would have gone to a couple games.
Those appointment dates are coming up fast--praying for wonderful results!!
Take good care of each other!
Love,
Bernie W.

Really happy to hear about your progress reducing the pain medicine.

We went to Platteville to a wedding over the weekend. Had a real fun trip. Saw a lot of wildlife along the Mississippi. Had a good time at the wedding.

We'll be watching you getting better in the neighborhood. Keep being positive.
