Thursday - each day a little better...

Scott is doing better today, we did a few loops around the nurses station this a.m. He has been visited by PT/OT people to get a program set for at home reconditioning and strength building, he has lost a lot of his strength due to the weight loss and inactivity due to his general health.

Scott is still showing high numbers on sugar levels, so something new will probably be added to his meds or to the TPN. Dr. Greeno visited today, the infection is under control, the drugs seem to be doing there job so far, adjustments are still being made. As far as his cancer status, no sign of reoccurence, the doctors are going on the fact that this an infection from the pseudo cysts or the liver absesses.

Scott is more alert, but resting right now. We are SO thankful for all the excellent care we are receiving.

HI Rox and Scott,
We just got home from Chippewa, we had a great stay up there with my sister Becky. We spent a lot of time with my family--they all send their love and best wishes to both of you and your family!
I am so glad to read that Scott is feeling better and stronger today.
It sure was nice not having such frigid weather to deal with over Christmas! Bet you appreciated it too!
I enjoy getting photos!
Love,
Bernie W.
